About Frankfurt, Germany: 

Frankfurt, a central German city on the river Main, is a major financial hub that's home to the European Central Bank. Frankfurt is culturally, ethnically and religiously diverse, with half of its population, and a majority of its young people, having a migrant background.

Notable Attractions and Sights to Explore:

Romerberg: Meaning Roman Mountain in English, this public square lies in front of the seat of Frankfurt’s administration. It’s the venue for royal coronations, trade fairs and Christmas markets.

Main Tower: The Main Tower, named after the nearby Main River, is the highest viewpoint in Frankfurt. It’s located in the Innenstadt district and comprises 56 floors.

Palmengarten: This serene Palm Garden is the largest botanical garden in Germany. It opened in 1871 and has a display of lovely botanic exhibits laid according to their geographical location.

Alte Oper: The classical opera house was completely destroyed during World War II. Later, it was reconstructed and today, it’s a popular venue for operas and concerts.

Goethe House: A writer’s house museum located in the Innenstadt district, it was the family residence of famous author Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. This is the only gallery completely dedicated to the Age of Geothe.
